2015 Children's Miracle Network Linen Fashion Show

I had an opportunity to cover the Children's Miracle Network Linen Fashion show. I have to say, this was one of the coolest events I have covered to date!

All of the gowns were designed using nothing but table covers and table linens. One or two of the gowns were a little bulky and left you thinking that they were cute for tablecloths. But most of the gowns were absolutely gorgeous. They were designed and fitted in such a way that you would have never guessed that they weren't actual dress designs. The models that wore the tablecloths were every bit as beautiful as their gowns.

After the models walked the runway and the 2015 Tabletop Queen was crowned, the real show began. Each of the models walked the runway again this time with a friend/model from the Children's Miracle Network. It was during this part of the show that the stars really shined. There is nothing quite as precious as a big ear to ear smile on a child doing something special.

The event, in its 5th year, was a fundraiser for the Children's Miracle Network. They announced that they nearly tripled the amount of money that was raised last year. For me, it really was rewarding to be a part of such a wonderful evening.
