Oklahoma Photographer 2017 Year in Review

2017 was an awesome year for Senior, Model and Wedding photography at Fry Photography. It's no secret that my latest shoot is my favorite shoot. But, 2017 provided a few memorable shoots that will stand the test of time. Some of the incredible people I was able to work with included a Thunder Girl, the reigning Miss Oklahoma HIgh School, an OSU/Team USA Cheerleader and about a dozen Fairytale Princesses. I've watched several of the models I've worked with sign with their first modeling agency or move up to a higher level agency. Of course, there were all of the Seniors, families and the beautiful brides that allowed us to capture their special moments. And, then there was the sailboat....

During the summer, I found a sailboat owner that allowed me to shoot on his boat. The first shoot was awesome couples shoot with some of my favorite models. Then Miss Oklahoma High School got on board. I was scared to death her crown was going to end up in the bottom of the lake. The third, and what would turn out to be the final, shoot was with a new model on her birthday. The entire shoot went exactly as planned. The sunset was perfect allowing us to capture some incredible images. As we were wrapping up, the boat had a mechanical problem and ended up drifting into the dam eventually sinking. We ended up climbing off the boat and up the rocky dam to safety. The pictures were great and sailing was fun. But, I think in 2018 I'll stay on dry land.

All in all, 2017 was a great year filled with incredible people and shoots. I'm looking forward to even better in 2018.
